CANCER ROWING PROGRAM
ROWcovery
ROWcovery is a rowing program for cancer patients and survivors that is designed to promote both physical and emotional recovery from the rigors of cancer treatment, within an empowering environment of fellow patients and survivors.
Rowing is a low impact sport that engages your entire body and multiple studies have shown that exercise of this type promotes mental and physical well being and helps prevent recurrence.
No experience is necessary. Instruction will be provided by qualified rowing coaches using both indoor rowing machines and on-water rowing shells on the beautiful Merrimack River in Hooksett, NH.
